About Switchback...

Swiss Band Switchback dont know any boundaries. After the release of their first Full length on German HC label Dead Serious Records, Switchback will release its second record Wrong Path To Evolution in February 2008.

Angel of Mine, first album of the band, was an extreme piece of technical metalcore. Now the band evolved, and young swiss men (20 years of average) decided to explore the experimental side of extreme music. Influenced by Avant-garde bands like MESHUGGAH, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, PSYOPUS, ION DISSONANCE, Switchback dont care about what people think and play a fast, technical Chaoscore.

If the first album was mastered by Alan Douches at west west Side (NY) for this 4 tracks, the band decided to record all instruments in its own studio called the Chaos Room . Mix and mastering was done by Julien Fehlmann at Studio Mecanique in La Chaux-de-Fonds (CH), hometown of Switchback.
